Frome Medical Practice joined the NHS Forest in 2022. Staff have installed aromatic herb planters around the entrance to the surgery, providing a sensory experience for patients to interact with. They have also built a staff wellbeing garden with allotment plots, where teams or individuals can grow fruit and vegetables.

The practice is working towards a closed-loop model for the allotment garden and have installed hot composters to recycle staff kitchen waste.

In 2024 they planted 850 NHS Forest trees paid for by the Nature for Climate fund.
